Valerie Black was born and raised in Wichita, KS and attended the Wichita Public Schools. She received her B.B.A. in Business Management from Wichita State University. She is currently a student at Phillips Theological Seminary working towards a Master of Divinity degree.
Valerie left Wichita and went to Atlanta, Georgia to pursue a singing career. After being in Atlanta for three years, Valerie rededicated her life to Christ and served in various ministries: children’s ministry, youth ministry, missions, outreach, singles, choir, and praise team.
Valerie joined Dellrose in 2001 and announced her calling to the ministry, and graduated from Phillips Theological Seminary in Tulsa, Ok. Her mission is to spread the word of God to all people through effective preaching, teaching, and music evangelism. Her desire is to please the Lord with all her heart and soul.
